Pizzato Elettrica recently introduced its new HX series stainless steel safety hinge switches.
Thanks to the use of AISI 316L stainless steel and precise surface finishing, this new line of instruments is suitable for any environment with corrosive agents and chemicals or aseptic environment where special care is required. to cleanliness and hygiene such as pharmaceutical, chemical or marine sector etc.
These are the key features of the HX series:
- AISI 316L . stainless steel case
- Protection index IP67 and IP69K
- Rear cable and rear cable version with M12 . connector
- Laser engraving on the product.
The HX series stainless steel safety switches are available with both mechanical and electronic contact blocks.
MECHANICAL CONTACT BLOCK VERSIONS:
Two versions of the stainless steel safety switch with mechanical contacts are available.
- 2NO + 2NC, action slows closer to a positive opening
- 2NO + 2NC, slow action superimposed on positive opening
ELECTRONIC BLOCK CONTACT VERSIONS:
A version of the HX series of switches with electronic contact block is available with the following features:
- 2 PNP safety outputs, 1 PNP auxiliary output, 2 PNP safety inputs.
- Several hinged safety switches can be connected: the redundant internal structure of the HX hinged safety switch meets the characteristics required by EN ISO 13489-1 and IEC 62061, the actual switch can therefore be classified as class 4, PL e and SIL 3 devices. HX hinge switches may be used in series, while maintaining PL e, as long as they are connection to the appropriate Pizzato Elettrica safety module controls correct operation.
- 4 status LEDs: the electronically-contacted versions in the HX series are provided with 4 LEDs so you can quickly determine the status found. Each LED is assigned a specific signaling function that makes it possible to instantly identify a wire fault or a circuit break. This helps avoid having to decode troublesome flashing sequences to identify specific system errors.
