To test vertical packaging applications
Designed to integrate with vertical packaging solutions
Vertical Metal Detectors with Probe and Super Throat are designed to be integrated with vertical packers (VFFS) for free-fall product inspection in food processing and packaging applications. Vertical metal detectors are especially suitable for snack and confectionery processing using metal film packaging. Testing for metal impurities in the product stream takes place right before the product enters the packaging, overcoming any limitations created by the packaging material and ensuring the highest sensitivity.
Boost productivity
To minimize the risk of product recalls in food production due to metal contamination, Mettler Toledo Safeline’s latest Profile Throat and Super Throat metal detectors are equipped with eDrive™ technology. eDrive™ offers high sensitivity for all types of metals, including ferrous, non-ferrous metals and hard-to-detect stainless steels, allowing smaller and irregularly shaped metal impurities to be detected . Reduced Test Mode can greatly reduce the frequency of performance testing, helping to increase production capacity
